Sixth for Jamie in season opener

Jamie Green kicked off his 2008 DTM season with a solid sixth-place finish in Hockenheim.
After struggling to find a good balance on his Mercedes-Benz C-class all weekend, Jamie was pleased to come away from the weekend with three points on the board.
"It's been a frustrating weekend," he said. "I've been struggling with the balance of the car all the way through. In free practice it went one way, in the race it went the other."
The race was dominated by the new Audi A4s, which finished one-two-three. Jamie was the second highest Mercedes and his race pace compared to his team-mates gives him confidence for the rest of the season.
"Over long runs my pace was as good as, if not better, than the other Mercedes drivers. I was struggling a bit on new tyres, but the long-run pace wasn't too bad. There was a couple of things about my racecraft that I wasn't too happy with, but overall I think sixth place from this weekend is a positive result."
The next round of the series is at Oschersleben in eastern Germany next weekend. Last year Jamie set the fastest lap but was controversially taken out of the race.
"My pace there has been better than my results suggest. The Audis were quite a bit quicker than us in Hockenheim, but Oschersleben is a completely different type of track so hopefully we can go well there."
